A furnished home for one to six months

Electricity, water and broadband are included in one monthly price. No twelve-month commitment, and you can arrange everything before you arrive. A clear start and end date, and a fixed price for the whole period. If your dates shift, you can extend by exactly the days you need.

A real home, not a hotel room

An ordinary flat in an ordinary residential building — not a room in an aparthotel block. Your own kitchen, your own front door.

Arrive with a suitcase

Furniture, appliances and a fully equipped kitchen are already there. Add bed linen and towels if you would rather not bring your own.

Extending without a second move

Plans shift, and the contract can be extended by the day — not in whole months. Tell us your new estimate as soon as you have it; the earlier we know, the better it works out.

Who this is for

People come to us for very different reasons. The need is usually the same: a furnished home for a few months, without a year-long lease.

Relocating to Helsinki

A place to live while you look for something permanent — without signing a twelve-month lease in a city you have not seen yet.

Visiting researcher or academic

A semester or a few months. You get a proper invoice with VAT itemised, which your university or institute will accept for reimbursement.

Work assignment or project

A few months in the capital region. We can invoice your employer directly if that is easier for you.

Between homes

The old place is sold, the new one is not ready. A few months in between, without committing to a full lease.

Renovation or water damage

Your home is out of use for a few months. Insurance often covers temporary accommodation — confirm the cover with your insurer first.

Other changes

You need your own place quickly and do not want to commit for a year. Tell us briefly what is going on and we will look at the options.

What is included

One monthly price. No separate electricity or broadband bills and no setup charges for a short stay. We tell you every cost up front.

Furniture and appliances
Beds, sofa, dining table, desk, dishes and kitchenware. A washing machine in the flat or in the building's laundry room.
Electricity, water and broadband
All included in the rent. No utility contracts to open for a stay of a few months.
Optional add-ons
Bed linen and towel rental, and final cleaning. Take either, or bring your own. We give you the prices with your quote — no surprises on the final bill.
A fixed monthly price
The same price every month for the whole stay. No seasonal pricing, no weekend surcharges — you know the total cost in advance.
A fixed-term tenancy agreement
A written contract for the agreed dates, with the option to extend by the day if the apartment is free then.
An invoice you can pass on
We are a VAT-registered Finnish company. You get a proper invoice with VAT itemised — for your employer, university or insurer.
An English-speaking contact
The same person handles your stay from start to finish, in English — you never have to explain your situation twice.

How it works

In most cases you know your move-in date within the same week you contact us.

STEP 01

Tell us what you need

Area, number of rooms, approximate start date and length of stay. Whatever you know right now is enough.

STEP 02

Get options the same day

We send available apartments with prices, photos and dates. Some of them also have a video walkthrough.

STEP 03

Move in, keys in hand

The apartment is furnished and cleaned before you arrive. Bring your own bed linen, or add it to your booking and it will be waiting for you.

Common questions

What if my plans or timeline change?

This is the most common worry, which is why the stay can be extended by the day — you are not forced to pay for a whole month if you only need another couple of weeks. Let us know the new dates as soon as you have them: the earlier you tell us, the more likely the extension works out in the same apartment. If it is already booked for the next tenant, we check what else of ours is free. Availability may be more limited over the summer months.

Do I need a Finnish personal identity code or bank account?

No. We can sign the contract and take payment before you have a Finnish ID code or a local bank account — a common problem in your first weeks here. Payment by bank transfer from a foreign account is fine.

Can I get an invoice for my employer, university or insurer?

Yes. We are a VAT-registered Finnish company, so you receive a proper invoice with the VAT itemised. It can be addressed to you, to your employer, or to an insurance company if cover has been agreed in advance.

Can I book before I arrive in Finland?

Yes, and most of our guests do. You get detailed photos of each apartment we suggest, a video for some of them, and the contract is signed electronically — so the keys are ready when you land.

What kind of contract is it?

A written fixed-term tenancy agreement for the agreed dates, in English if you prefer — not an open-ended lease. You know from the start what you are committing to and when it ends. The deposit is one month's rent, and the contract states clearly how the period can be extended, day by day.

Can I view the apartment beforehand?

Someone is almost always living in our apartments, and we do not arrange viewings while a tenant is in residence — we respect their privacy, and you get the same during your own stay. Instead you get detailed photos of every apartment we suggest, and a video for some of them. If an apartment happens to be empty before your move-in date, we are glad to arrange a viewing.

How quickly can I move in?

If an apartment is free, moving in usually works within a few days. In urgent situations — after water damage, for example — write "urgent" at the start of your message and we will handle it first.

Is there a minimum stay?

The shortest period is 28 nights. A typical stay is two to six months, and longer stays are possible as well.

Can my stay start and end mid-month?

Yes. Your stay can begin and end on any date — 8 January to 16 April, for example. Full months are charged at the monthly rate and partial months per night (the monthly price divided by 30), so you never pay for days you do not stay, and you do not have to fit your dates around calendar months.

Can I bring a pet?

Unfortunately not. All of our apartments are pet-free, so that we can guarantee a clean apartment for guests with allergies — including the ones who move in after you. This applies to every apartment, without exception.

Tell us what you need

We reply the same day. If you do not know the exact dates yet, an estimate is fine.
